Lung cancer: data introduction
The following lung cancer data pages provide access to detailed statistics on lung cancer in Scotland. Most of this data is available through hyperlinks to the lung cancer area of the ISD Scotland website. This includes data on lung cancer incidence, mortality, survival, prevalence and lifetime risk, which are all available from the ISD Scotland website as downloadable Excel files. The Cancer in Scotland summary report (264Kb), produced by the ISD Population Health Team, provides a statistical overview of cancer in Scotland, comparing lung cancer alongside other common cancers.
Table 1 summarises the dimensions / geographies lung cancer data are presented at, either within the data pages which follow or through hyperlinks to other websites.
