healthtalk.org  is a charity that provides information for patients, carers and health care professionals based on the real-life experiences of people living with health conditions. This is a link to its section on kidney health.

Think Kidneys is an NHS England website that provides information about AKI, CKD and kidney care services for patients, carers and health care professionals. 

The Scottish Kidney Federation advocates for renal patients and their Associations throughout Scotland.

The National Kidney Federation is a UK charity run by and for kidney patients that provides advice via its website, patient leaflets and a national helpline.

The Kidney Alliance was founded by the Renal Association (see below) and National Kidney Federation to bring together patients and professionals to campaign for improved standards of care.

Kidney Research UK is a charity that funds research, provides patient information and raises public awareness about kidney disease.

The British Kidney Patient Association provides information, support and financial support to people with kidney disease. It also provides financial support to kidney units in the UK to improve services and patient care.

The National Kidney Foundation is a U.S. based organisation dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease in America.

The Renal Association is the professional body for United Kingdom nephrologists (renal physicians, or kidney doctors) and renal scientists in the UK. The UK Renal Registry (see below) is part of the Renal Association.

The UK Renal Registry collects, analyses and reports on data from adult and paediatric renal centres in England and Wales. The data can be accessed via this website.

The Scottish Renal Association has members from multiple disciplines in Scotland, Northern Ireland and beyond. The SRA oversees the Scottish Renal Registry (see below).

The Scottish Renal Registry is a national registry of all patients receiving renal replacement therapy for established renal failure in Scotland. Information about how to access the data is available via this website.

The British Renal Society aims to bring together groups and professionals involved in the care of people with kidney disease.

The British Transplantation Society is a membership society for professionals from all disciplines working in transplantation in the UK.
