Scotland's Chief Medical Officer, Dr Harry Burns, has established an expert reference group to help inform policy on tackling Scotland's health inequalities.
This group met on 9 October 2007 to discuss possible new interventions to tackle health inequalities and to identify the best tools to evaluate the effectiveness of such interventions. A report of the day and copies of presentations are available below. Copies of Alastair Leyland's presentation on 'Understanding where the inequalities are' are available on request from Alastair (a.leyland@sphsu.mrc.ac.uk).
