Chart 1 shows the percentage of individuals in each NHS board area classifying their own health as 'not good'. In Scotland overall, 10% of the population fell into this category, with the figures ranging from from 6.7 % in Orkney to almost double that in Greater Glasgow. |

The same data (percentage of individuals assessing their health as 'not good') is displayed in Chart 2, but is broken down by council area of residence. Glasgow City stands out as the council area with the highest proportion of individuals falling into this category (15.6%), while Orkney, Shetland and Aberdeenshire have the lowest figures (all 6.7% - less than half the rate for Glasgow). |
