Practice Team Information

In 2003/2004 there were 39,200 contacts with any member of the practice team to do with epilepsy. The number of patients with epilepsy attending at some point in the year was 18,800. So on average each patient who attended a practice attended twice. The number of people with epilepsy is greater in deprived populations. The Excel file gives greater detail, including age sex and deprivation breakdown and data for the past few years. Further data are available in the following Excel file:
