In November 2006, Moving Forward: Sexually Transmitted Infections including HIV, in Scotland, 2005, the second annual report from the Sexually Transmitted Infection Epidemiology Advisory Group (STIEAG), was published, produced jointly by Health Protection Scotland (HPS) and the Information Services Division (ISD), both of NHS National Services Scotland (NSS).This report combines information from laboratories and Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) clinics, together with more specialised data relating to HIV.

Surveillance reports are published in the HPS Weekly Report, and provide a periodic update on a wide range of health protection topics including sexually transmitted infections
