Colorectal cancer: data introduction

The following colorectal cancer data pages provide access to detailed statistics on colorectal cancer in Scotland. Most of this data is available through hyperlinks to the  colorectal cancer area of the ISD Scotland website. This includes data on colorectal cancer incidence, mortality, survival, prevalence and lifetime risk, which are all available from the ISD Scotland website as downloadable Excel files. The Cancer in Scotland summary report PDF Button(264Kb), produced by the ISD Cancer Surveillance Team, provides a statistical overview of cancer in Scotland, comparing colorectal cancer alongside other common cancers.

Table 1 summarises the dimensions / geographies colorectal cancer data are presented at, either within the data pages which follow or through hyperlinks to other websites.
