About the Public Health Information Network for Scotland (PHINS)

The Public Health Information Network for Scotland (PHINS), originally established in 2001 by the Public Health Institute of Scotland, aims to keep public health professionals in Scotland up-to-date with national and local developments in the sphere of public health information via bulletins, email updates and seminars.

Seminars

Seminars are held on an annual basis to discuss and publicise current information and research projects. Details of this year's seminar (to be held in Glasgow on Friday 5th September 2008) are available from the link below.

Bulletins

A bulletin is produced on an approximately annual basis and is sent out by email to PHINS members (and can also be downloaded below).

If you would like to join this network (in order to receive email updates, details of seminars, new publications, etc.), please register with the ScotPHO website ensuring that you subscribe to the PHINS email list.
