Community wellbeing: data
The core set of mental health indicators for adults in Scotland, Wellbeing: A better way of measuring society's progress and the NEF National Accounts of Wellbeing all identify a range of measures that can promote or undermine community wellbeing. These are discussed in more depth in the documents themselves, but this section will present basic data on some indicators typical of the frameworks: neighbourhood satisfaction and general trust. Additional data on relevant indicators is available elsewhere on this site (see in particular Crime: key points and Scotland's mental health and its context: adults 2009).
