UNICEF Baby friendly initiative provides support for parents, and encourages professionals and services to support breastfeeding in a consistent manner.
National Childbirth Trust lobbies and provides information and resources for parents and professionals on a wide range of aspects of pregnancy and childbirth. Local groups organise antenatal classes and postnatal/breastfeeding support groups. The Trust also links to other local and national support and information groups that may be of interest to families who experience problems or difficulties in this period.
BDF Newlife is a charitable organisation that provides information and support to families affected by congenital anomalies, as well as supporting medical research.
BirthChoiceUK provides information to help women choose where to give birth.
