Health and life expectancies: NHS boards

Life expectancy (LE) and healthy life expectancy (HLE) for Scottish NHS boards are published annually by NRS. 

Chart 1 uses NRS data to show trends for LE and HLE by Scottish NHS boards for males and females. The ScotPHO online profiles tool can also be used to visualise trends for multiple councils in single chart (see ‘Trend’ or ‘Rank’ tabs).
