Children and young people: data introduction
A wide range of indicators on children and young people’s physical health, mental health, health behaviours and wider determinants can be found on ScotPHO’s online profile tool. The mental health profile for children and young people was published in 2025, adding more indicators to the collection, and complementing the existing general profile for children and young people.
The information available via the online profiles and other resources is highlighted in the following pages.
