24th November 2015 - Online Profiles Tool update - Mental Health Profiles

The Scottish Public Health Observatory (ScotPHO) has today released Mental Health Profiles.

Two reports summarise the national picture for adults and adolescents:

  • Mental Health Profiles for Adults - Summary Report. This report gives a national overview of inequalities in adult mental health in Scotland, using mental health indicators available for every local authority area in Scotland. The report reveals inequalities in mental health outcomes by age, sex and deprivation.
  • Mental Health Profiles for Adolescents - Summary Report. This report gives a national overview of inequalities in adolescent mental health in Scotland, using mental health indicators available for every local authority area in Scotland. The report reveals inequalities in mental health outcomes by sex, deprivation and by age (between high school years 2 and 4).

The local authority profiles containing both adult and adolescent indicators and the summary reports are available via the ScotPHO Online Profiles Tool webpage.
