Lung cancer: data introduction

The Cancer incidence in Scotland publication produced by the Public Health Scotland (PHS) Population Health Team, provides an overview of the data on cancer in Scotland, comparing lung cancer alongside other common cancers. The publication also contains detailed statistics on lung cancer in Scotland, including data on lung cancer incidence, mortality, survival, prevalence and lifetime risk, which are all available as downloadable Excel files. 

Table 1 summarises the dimensions / geographies lung cancer data are presented at, either within the data pages which follow or through hyperlinks to other websites.
